What I Do

Customized Nutrition coaching

Diet and exercise need to be balanced in order to achieve sustainable and longer term results. You can exercise as much as you'd like but if you are not eating in a way to support your bodies needs, you will not receive the full benefit of weight loss, muscle gain and overall great health. I can educate you on ways to incorporate healthy eating and exercise into your lifestyle and create an individualized plan to achieve your goals. 

1. initial assessment

Your initial assessment will be a thorough strategy session to map out exactly how to reach your goals. We will discuss your health and injury history and physical capabilities.  After discussing everything above, we will determine exactly how we can create a plan that makes sense for you and your lifestyle personally. 

2. customized nutrition coaching

Coaching is key here!! We will work together to make sure this fits you and your lifestyle. We will plan meal frequency and plan that fits your schedule and needs... specific calorie targets and macronutrient ratios for your body and goals... as well as Non- calorie/macronutrient based plans for those who do not feel the need or desire to track these numbers. I can develop any plan you want. 


About Me!

Strength and Nutrition Coach

I’ve had a roller coaster of a ride with my nutrition and have made many mistakes along the way. I started to create a negative association with food and a poor relationship my body as I had convinced myself that as an athlete and collegiate volleyball player, I was required to always look a certain way.  I wasn’t happy in my own skin unless I was at fighting weight, shredded and lean (which isn’t sustainable) I would freak out if I gained any body fat and hated what I saw in the mirror.

As life went on I became a mother of 3 and desperately wanted to get back to my pre-baby weight.  I stumbled upon CrossFit and loved everything about it. 

I didn’t have a clue about Nutrition and how to stay lean and still be able to CrossFit while staying strong and healthy. I would drastically restrict calories, over train and pretty much starve myself to get that number on the scale where I needed it. This would always end with binge episodes, I would feel guilty and this cycle continued…..all while putting out to the public that my lifestyle was healthy.

One day I realized that as a role model/mother of three and strength coach to 100's of people I had to re-evalute how I was treating my body, and it was time to be honest with myself and take steps to make changes. 

So I did just that!!! 

Along the way I fell in love with the science of Nutrition and its application into real life.  I was amazed at how easy it was to incorporate into my busy schedule and how easy it was for me to maintain the results I desired.... without having to starve myself or buy crazy diet pills and fake food.  What I discovered along the way in my journey is that eating clean and healthy is sustainable, and is something that I could maintain and taylor to my everyday needs... and that I could Coach and help people to do the exact same in their lives as well!!!

I started this nutrition coaching journey  to make a difference in peoples lives, to inspire, to educate, so people don’t go down the same path I did, or make the same mistakes.
